Study skills

Study skills are an essential part of the learning process, as we acquire different ways of understanding topics or a subject during our course. I am going to share some of the study methods that I use as my study habits.           Firstly, I prefer to study at night as I believe it is the best time to memorize things easily as during night there is less noise in the surroundings which is essential to focus at a particular topic more effectively not only it increases the focus ability but also improves the long term memory of a person which helps me to memorize things for a long period of time. Along with that I also prefer to have a cup of coffee as it prevents me from falling to sleep and gives me some extra time to study more.          Secondly, I try to divide things into parts so that I could grab every detail of the material effectively without any burden. Intro to college Life

  College life means a new journey in our life where we get the opportunity to meet new people from different backgrounds. But obviously first few weeks at college is absolute blur as am an international student and not have English language as my mother tongue. It was hard for me to communicate properly with other students and my professors. In addition to this one of the main problem that I faced was to adapt to the new education culture where most of the work needs to be done online rather then using pen and paper which includes assignments, quizzes, in class activities, group discussions etc. Moreover it was not an easy task to cope up with the program of computer system technician as It was not related to my previous studies However with time I found this course very interesting as my professors are very cooperative and helpful.
