Teamwork


A teamwork is collective work done by more than one person to complete a task in a given time. To perform well in teams, one must have good communication skills to share ideas with others. It is easy to work with teams when everyone has similar mindsets, however in the business world when it comes to working with the people that belong to some other part of the world, it becomes difficult to maintain proper understanding among them.

Another aspect of teamwork is to understand the weakness and strong points of every member that can make a team more stronger and effective. In my program that is a computer system technician, teamwork is considered to be an imperative part of our work. I feel that I have the ability to work in a group to perform well. however, I face difficulty to share my opinions with other team members. For the final project, I need to work with the other three members that can be challenging to me as they belong to different communities and have there own point of view to look at a particular problem and its solution.“All team members need to believe the team has urgent and worthwhile purposes, and they want to know what the expectations are”.[p .199].

Hence, for the best result, each member should have a common goal and should motivate each other to accomplish that goal. For this project, I feel like we need to be committed to our goals and work together towards the goal, as each member is mutually responsible for the success and failure of the project. the best practice in these kinds of situations is to communicate with each other and try to understand the point of view of each member and implement the best solution which is of everybody's interest.

Study skills

Study skills are an essential part of the learning process, as we acquire different ways of understanding topics or a subject during our course. I am going to share some of the study methods that I use as my study habits.           Firstly, I prefer to study at night as I believe it is the best time to memorize things easily as during night there is less noise in the surroundings which is essential to focus at a particular topic more effectively not only it increases the focus ability but also improves the long term memory of a person which helps me to memorize things for a long period of time.
